The map library
Folders, filing, and creating a map.
The mindmaps module opens on the library: every map, shown as a thumbnail, with folders to file them in.
Folders and filing
New creates a Map or a Folder at the current level. Folders nest. Drag a map onto a folder to file it, or onto a crumb in the breadcrumb trail to move it back out.
Hover a card for its menu button, or right-click it. A map's menu holds Rename, Duplicate, Export, and Delete; a folder's holds Rename and Delete.
Delete moves the map or folder to the trash without asking first, and a toast offers Undo. See Trash for restoring it later.
Creating a map
New and then Map asks for a name and a starting template. Six templates ship: Dawn Classic (the default), Rainbow Branches, Monochrome, Study, Org Chart, and Blueprint. You can switch palette later from Map style on the canvas.
