Themes

Mnemo ships two themes, Light and Dark, plus the option of letting your operating system pick between them. They live in Settings under Appearance.

Light, Dark, and the system

Light is the default. Match system keeps listening while Mnemo is open, so a machine that flips to dark in the evening takes the app with it.

Earlier builds shipped four themes: Dawn, Noon, Dusk, and Ember. Those names are gone, but your choice is not. Dawn and Noon land on Light, Dusk and Ember land on Dark.

How much the app moves

Reduce motion, in the Interface group, defaults to Match system; Full motion and Reduced motion override it. Reduced motion takes animation durations to zero and removes the short distance popovers and toasts travel.

Taskbar icon offers alternate app icons, and it is the one setting here that waits for a restart. Your profile picture is not here: it sits in Settings under Profile.
