Rebuilding

Mnemo is being rebuilt, so downloads are paused until the new app ships. We are porting from Avalonia to React and Photino and redrawing every screen, so the screenshots here are a mix of the old app and the new one.

Tuning the editor

Width, spacing, text sizes, and spell check.

Long study sessions live or die on comfort, so the editor's feel has its own corner of Settings, under Editor. These are reading ergonomics, not decoration; small nudges here compound over hours.

Width and spacing

Editor Width chooses how wide the writing column should run, from Super Compact to Super Wide. Narrower columns read faster; wider ones fit more structure on screen.

The Markdown appearance group carries the finer dials: block spacing, line spacing, letter spacing, and separate font sizes for body text, code, and math. As the app's rehaul settles, expect these to reach further; today some surfaces still run on their built-in metrics.

Spell check

Spell check is on by default, with a language setting offering English, German, Spanish, and Norwegian. The underlines are hints, not verdicts; write in peace and let the squiggles catch what they catch.

Fonts

Typefaces are not user-selectable. Mnemo ships its own set, one for the UI, a matching monospace for code, and a dedicated math face for equations, tuned to sit well together at every size the settings above allow. If a setting you expect is missing here, the Settings search box is the fastest way to confirm whether it exists yet.
